And now for something a little different…
The Wat Saket (or the Golden Mount) in Bangkok is a really interesting Wat.
It is located on the top of a small hill in the center of the Big Mango and it gives you a very nice view of the surroundings.
Have a look here if you want to know what it looks like.
This photography ws taken while i was climbing.
I was interested by the bells and the movement of the stairs but luckily at the moment i was planning to shoot those two monks came by.

This picture appeals the most to me as I am a Buddhist now following the footsteps of my favorite celebrity, Richard Gere, a publicly well known practitioner of the religion. These monks along with the Dalai Lama are our teachers. The moment that has been captured of these men who are Buddha-like, is really beautiful. The color scheme of the to different orange colored cloaked, one simple and the other radiant, both qualities of the Buddha at work and the steps at the back, at least I see it as a stair to heaven. Keep the great pictures coming.

Well i almost run into Richard Gere when he was in Burobudur, Indonesia.
Not sure if he’s ever been to Thailand, though…
