An interesting read. I don’t have an iPhone myself, yet, so perhaps I can’t put it to the greatest use.

But never the less it gives you some ideas of what can be done with your pictures even if you’re stuck on a big bunky laptop like me.

      Thanks for your comment Alexander,
Actually you probably have more control on your photo with a good editing software and your “big bunky laptop” than with an Iphone ;)
This iphone apps for photographers are great do to quick and easy fix on your pictures but nothing beats a post processing in Photoshop or Lightroom.

Speaking of which! I recently put my hands on Lightroom and must say that so far it have left a great impression for me.

Previously, using the best technique I knew in photoshop I got a decent result on noise reduction. After using Lightroom I was able to pull of a much better result with less effort.

I’m quite amazed how they manage to work these softwares out.

Agree, I’m a great fan of Lightroom wich i feel gives a lot of options for photographers.
Noise reduction speaking, the V3 was a great improvement.
I heard that Dxo Optics is also very good regarding this issue but i never tried it.

I suggest you check out bestcamera app by chase jarvis. I used to have it, felt like it did a better job than photoshop express. Looking forward to your next post!

you have included the editing & effects app for but you have not included the most imp app for organizing the pics i.e. Sortshots. It is the best photo organizing app.It lets you sequence on name, size etc. as well as create a custom sequence with a simple drag and drop interface. There are several more features like EXIF/Metadata support, Tagging, Share and so on but the sequencing is the one which made me buy this thing..
